9 years ago today, my son Cameron was born.
He's on vacation with his mom right now, so I won't get to hug him or kiss him on his birthday this year.
But he knows I love him. I make sure I tell him no less than 50 times a day.
He's funny. He's considerate. He has feelings. He's empathetic. He's a 2nd Degree Brown Belt in Kenpo Karate.
He is my hero.
He is going to be a great man someday. Maybe even greater than me....if I let him (I'm a 2nd Degree Brown Belt, too).
But he makes me laugh.
Case in point: if you haven't seen this status on my Facebook page, this was an actual conversation I had with Cam in the car one night, after he got back from Florida with his grandfather. We mention Payton in here, who is his older sister.
Enjoy.
That's my little man.
Legend.
Love you, buddy. Happy Birthday.

That's hysterical. Kids really do say some of the funniest thigs I've ever heard. I can't wait until my niece starts talking. Happy Birthday to Cam!!
I peed my pants. I love the comments that come out of the mouths of babes; well, most of the time anyway. That was classic, and definately a keeper. You should print out that FB entry up, print it out and mount it on a big foam board, and display it at Payton's wedding reception.
Jeez - I meant "definitely", and I don't know where that random "up" came from in the next sentence.
That's so funny. I love kids so much, although I've claimed otherwise in the past. My five year old niece said the following this morning, "me true love is danger." What in the hell!?!
Gotta love kids. They can say shit that would get them punched if they were adults.
Awwwwwwwww! Happy 9th Birthday, Cam!
