Wrapping Up the Week - March 27, 2011

week that was
Just in case you missed another fun-filled week on Mental Poo...

My Posts from this Week:

A hamster by day. Religious assassin heroin-addict by night.

This one is my Iliad, people.

My Iliad.

And then I found every father's worst nightmare.

Pray for me.

Moments in MENTAL POO History:

zombie history

A year ago this week on 'Mental Poo':

I do some more Family Circus parodies and have yet to hear from a single lawyer.

I must be doing it wrong.

It's impossible only if you think it is. OR, if you really have no concept of what 'possible' actually means.

Welcome to Massachusetts.

I make a ransom note for a pair of sunglasses and this is one of my proudest moments EVER.

I have low standards.

Two Years Ago this week on 'Mental Poo':

You want Girl Scout Cookies? Then consider me the Girl Scout pimp.

Cookie pimp.

I can't make that right now.

Another 'The Shit I Learn' series entry. This one is about my broken hand.

Jesus' middle name FINALLY revealed!!

I think.

Three Years Ago this week on 'Mental Poo

My friend Kristin takes the reins and gives us a story about a woman who..um...a woman who..ugh...

Just read it.

An open letter to the Easter Bunny.

Some funny stuff that's not mine that I read this week:

I don't know if I'd classify this as 'funny,' but all I know is that I AM GOING TO LIVE FOREVER!!!!

I'm going.

You should go, too.

There you go, folks.

Some new shit, some old shit.

That should keep you busy.

See you on Monday.

Moog out.

Wow, you have so many links it's crazy! I didn't realize that you had been around so long.

Trust me, with girls you're only beginning your hike into the bullshit path you go down, better toughen up! My husband once took my girls to The Spice Girls Movie! You heard me so buckle up and batten down...hahaha

Shit, now I forgot what I was gonna say...oh well!

I loved the ransom note for the sunglasses...that was priceless.
I actually toyed with the idea of going to Minneapolis because you were going to speak--I know that would be a riot--but it's just not in the budget. Good luck. I went to a blogger's conference last fall in Philadelphia and enjoyed it.

I've just read your hamster post and I think it's fair to say that I will have nightmares EVERY DAY for the foreseeable future about Sister Mary's face. (And also Sarah Jessica Parker's. Seriously... how much make-up?!)

Hamsters are amazing. A fly somehow managed to get inside Bernard's cage yesterday and was buzzing around for the best part of ten minutes. It was like Chinese torture for Bernard. She was running around like a mental and was all like, "THE NOISE! OMG THE NOISE!"

I didn't know what to do. Part of me wanted to rescue her while the other part of me thought it was far too funny to watch. Cheap entertainment FTW.

The Beebs has even drafted my neice into his legion of zombies.

I have no idea how, or why... the kid has evil powers.

And I find it hilarious to think of a room full of socially akward bloggers for a conference. lol.

We would only be texting each other, or leaving live comments on each others' blogs instead of speaking face to face.

Seriously?... Reeeally??... Seriously?
