Wrapping up the Week - April 10, 2011

Before I start today:

My good buddy John is running the Boston Marathon for the 5th time, in honor of his niece who will be going into her fourth year of cancer remission.

You can read about his story - and why he's running for his niece - here.

This guy has more balls and heart and drive than I could ever imagine to have. I'm proud to know him.

There is a link to a donation site to benefit cancer research.

Do this thing.

I will be eternally grateful.

Onward.

week that was
Just in case you missed another fun-filled week on Mental Poo...

My Posts from this Week:

This is what happens when you cross one of the most popuhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.giflar games on an Apple device with the crap going on inside my head.

You're welcome.

Did I mention that you can have me make fun of people for you?

Again. You're welcome.

..and with the money left over from donating, you can go buy this shirt.

FINALLY I can say 'thank you.'

Because, you know, you bought 4 of them. Right? RIGHT?!

I gave blood!

This is a big deal for me. Because I'm kind of selfish a wicked lot and hate needles.

I make my stage debut at a fundraiser for The Whiskey Girls and YES THERE IS A VIDEO!!

Damn. I look good.

Sadly, I don't work in the "baby dragon testing division."

Sucks.

Two Years Ago this week on 'Mental Poo':

My kid has terrible, terrible aim.

And acid pee.

A two-part series about one thing that, honestly, I really don't miss about being married.

Three Years Ago this week on 'Mental Poo

I got some 'Dear Moog' letters and..well..I answer them.

Woot.

A follow-up on my shoulder surgery because, you know, I can't go like two weeks without getting cut up.

How I roll.

*********************

Some funny stuff that's not mine that I read this week:

Actually, I'd rather you guys just go read John's story and then give some money to cancer research because it's way better than anything I could put here this week.

Thank you.

ALSO:

I'm going.

I'm SPEAKING.

You should go, too.

************************
There you go, folks.

Some new shit, some old shit.

That should keep you busy.

See you on Monday.

Moog out.

I watched the video of your performance with the Whiskey Girls. You did a great job! I was sitting in front of my computer laughing! You did not appear to be the least bit nervous!

I have a good friend also running Boston. I'll be cheering them both on.
Also, I linked to your blog in mine today, so I'm awesome. And survival gear-less. But still, awesome.
